Dip-QT
Demonstration of Fully Integrated Photonic Platforms for Quantum Technologies
For many current and future applications of quantum technology, the transmission of light in a wide variety of forms – whether as single photons serving as qubits, lasers for cooling ions and atoms, or radio frequencies for control and regulation – is playing an increasingly important role. Accordingly, the photonic integration and coupling of the various components in quantum technologies is becoming increasingly relevant. The QVLS-iLabs project Dip-QT is dedicated to this topic. The aim of Dip-QT is the development of photonic integrated chips and, in particular, integrated optical fiber components and fiber arrays. The key components developed by Dip-QT can be used in many of the other QVLS-iLabs projects as well as in future QT products.
The project has been successfully completed.
