Cloud Access to Ion Trap-Based Quantum Computers

Quantum computers promise enormous advances in science and industry. Nevertheless, practical access to real quantum hardware has so far been complex and requires specialized expertise. There is still a significant gap between existing quantum processors and their reliable use.

The QVLS-iLabs project CLIQC is developing an end-to-end quantum computing system that connects ion trap-based quantum hardware with a cloud-based, user-friendly software platform. The goal is to make real quantum computers reliably operable and easily accessible for research and industrial applications.
